The Annual General Meeting of the members of the Indian-Bulgarian Business Chamber was successfully held.


On June 28, 2025, in Sofia, the Annual General Meeting of the members of the Indian-Bulgarian Business Chamber was held, organized by the Chamber’s Management Board. The event took place in a hall at 82 Patriarch Evtimiy Blvd., Triaditsa district, and gathered only official representatives of the Board of Directors and regular members of the Chamber.

The meeting was conducted in a closed format, without external participants, to ensure focused and productive discussions on important internal topics and strategic planning for the upcoming year.

Attendees included:

  • H.E. Mr. Arun Kumar Sahu, Ambassador of the Republic of India to Bulgaria

  • The Commercial Attaché at the Embassy of India

  • Mr. Petar Velev, Chairman of the Indian-Bulgarian Business Chamber

  • Mr. Levon Hampartzoumian, Deputy Chairman of the Chamber

  • Representatives of regular members, including Global Trud Bulgaria, an active member of the Chamber

Key points on the agenda:

✅ Approval of the 2024 Annual Activity Report – highlighting achieved goals, expanded international contacts, and participation in key business forums;

✅ Approval of the 2024 Financial Report – confirming the Chamber’s stable financial standing;

✅ Discharge of the Management Board members from liability;

✅ Miscellaneous – ideas and proposals to promote bilateral economic partnership between India and Bulgaria, including facilitation of labor mobility, expert exchange, and investor support.
